Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

9-inch pie shell
1 1/2 qt. fresh strawberries
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
cream, whipped and sweetened
Preparation

Prepare and bake pie shell.
Cool.
Wash and hull strawberries.
Reserve half.
Mash the rest in a saucepan.
Mix sugar and cornstarch and add to mashed berries.
Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until thick and clear.
Stir in lemon juice. Cool completely.
Add remaining berries.
Pour into baked pastry shell.
Chill to settle.
Serve with whipped cream.
