Rum Cup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    5 c. sugar
    1/2 c. rum
    1 pineapple, peeled and cubed
    3 bananas, diced
    1 qt. lemon sherbet
    2 c. whipped cream, sweetened
    1/2 c. coconut
Preparation
    Combine sugar and water.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Cool.
    Add rum. Combine fruits in bowl.
    Pour syrup over and marinate in refrigerator 3 to 4 hours.
