Chicken Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 c. diced cooked chicken
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook noodles in boiling water until tender.
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add onion and saute.
    Add green pepper and soup, mixing well.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a 2-quart casserole dish. Place half the noodles in bottom of dish, then cover with half of chicken.
    Season with salt and pepper, then add half of mushroom soup mixture and half the grated cheese.
    Repeat layers, using remaining ingredients.
    Bake for 45 minutes.
    Remove from oven and serve.
