New Mexico Peanut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 c. milk
    1/2 c. peanut butter chips
    4 egg yolks
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 bag (7 1/4 oz.) chocolate covered peanuts, chopped
Preparation
    Combine
    sugar, brown sugar, flour, cornstarch and salt in saucepan.
    Add
    milk
    and
    peanut
    butter chips gradually. Cook and
    stir on medium heat until thick and bubbly.
    Reduce heat; cook
    and
    stir
    2\tminutes.
    Beat\tegg
    yolks
    lightly in\tsmall bowl.
    Stir
    1 cup hot mixture into yolks gradually and
    return egg
    mixture
    to saucepan.\tBring to gentle boil. Cook
    and
    stir on\tlow heat 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
    Pour mixture into baked pie shell and sprinkle with peanuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    Cool to room temperature before serving.
