Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. long grain rice
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed chicken broth
    1 1/3 c. water
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation
    Cook rice, onion and garlic in hot oil for 5 to 7 minutes over medium heat, stirring frequently.
    Carefully add broth, water, tomato sauce and pepper.
    Bring to boiling.
    Transfer the hot mixture to a 2-quart casserole.
    Cover and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven about 35 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. If desired, fluff with a fork before serving.
    Goes well with poultry or fish.
