A #1 Cheese Ball - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. extra sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 medium size onion, minced
1/4 to 1/2 c. green pepper, minced
1 (2 oz.) can pimientos, chopped
2 dashes thick steak sauce
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans or dried parsley
Preparation

Shred cheese while cold, then allow to come to room temperature.
Beat with cream cheese until blended. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Chill. When firm enough to handle, form into a ball and roll in nuts. Best if made 24 hours ahead.
Yields 1 1/4 pound cheese ball.
