Maud'S Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine or butter
    2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. white Karo
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    6 qt. popped corn
Preparation
    Remove from heat and stir in soda.
    Pour over popped corn. Put in a 200\u00b0
    oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Store in airtight container.
    You may add peanuts if you wish.
