Sweet And Sour Meatballs(Yields 25 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 1/4 oz.) pineapple tidbits
    water
    1 (8 oz.) whole cranberry sauce
    1/2 c. barbecue sauce
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 dash pepper
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    5 lb. bag frozen meat balls
    1/2 c. green pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Drain pineapple tidbits, reserving syrup.
    Set pineapple aside. Add water to reserved syrup to make 1/4 cup liquid.
    Combine syrup mixture, can of cranberry sauce, bottled barbecue sauce, salt and pepper.
    Pour over meatballs.
    Bring to boiling.
    Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
    Blend 1/4 cup cold water into 1 tablespoon of cornstarch.
    Stir into skillet.
    Cook and stir until thick.
    Add pineapple and 1/2 cup green pepper strips.
    Simmer covered until green pepper is barely tender.
    Serve as appetizers or may be served over hot cooked rice.
