Ingredients

8 medium carrots
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. minced onion
1/4 c. salad oil
1 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. water
2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Scrape and slice carrots.
Cook in boiling water until tender; drain.
Add onion, salt, sugar, oil, vinegar and water.
Mix and let marinate a while before serving.
