Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Combine flour, salt and soda and add alternately with buttermilk and flavorings.
    Mix well pour into greased and floured tube pan until cake tests done at 350\u00b0 for about 1 1/2 hours.
