Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 qt. tomato juice
    1 tsp. salt (rounded)
    1 can kidney beans
    1/2 lb. spaghetti
    1/4 tsp. chili powder (or more if you wish)
    2 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Cut up onion and
    brown in butter.
    Add hamburger; stir and cook until no longer red.
    Add tomato juice and salt.
    Cook slowly, about 1/2 hour.
    Add kidney beans.
    Break up and add spaghetti.
    Cook slowly until soft.
    Add water, if necessary.
    Add chili powder last.
    Allow about 1 hour or longer to make, stirring occasionally.
    Can be reheated or can be frozen for later use.
