Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1/3 c. butter
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 to 1 1/4 c. pecan halves
9-inch pie shell (deep dish only)
Preparation

Combine the first 3 ingredients in a medium saucepan.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves and butter melts.
Let cool slightly.
Add eggs, vanilla and salt to mixture, stirring well.
Pour filling into shell; top with pecan halves.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
