Mexican Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 to 1 1/4 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. instant minced onion
1/4 c. diced green chili pepper
1 c. tomato sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 to 3/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 can refrigerated biscuits
1 1/2 c. shredded cheese
1/2 c. sour cream
1 egg, slightly beaten
Preparation

Brown beef and onion, then add peppers.
Drain.
Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder and garlic salt.
Simmer while dividing biscuits.
Divide 5 biscuits to line an 8 or 9-inch pan.
Combine 1 cup cheese, sour cream and egg.
Mix well with meat.
Spoon over dough and place remaining biscuits on top.
Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 35 minutes until biscuits are brown on top.
