English Toffee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. real butter
3 Hershey bars (no nuts in pieces)
3/4 c. chopped nuts (very fine)
Preparation

Melt butter and sugar in saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture turns caramel colored (usually about 15 to 20 minutes).
Sugar and butter will combine, separate, then combine again.
Cook 3 to 4 minutes after mixture combines for 2nd time.
Pour immediately onto greased metal cookie sheet.
Tilt pan until mixture spreads evenly.
Sprinkle chocolate over top evenly. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
Let cool and break into bite size pieces.
