Pumpkin Or Squash Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. strained, cooked pumpkin or squash
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cream or evaporated milk
    3 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. ginger and 1 tsp. cinnamon or 1 1/2 tsp. pumpkin allspice
    1 (9-inch) unbaked shell
Preparation
    Thoroughly combine pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices.
    Add eggs and milk or cream.
    Pour into unbaked shell.
    Bake in hot oven at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then in moderate oven at 325\u00b0 for about 40 minutes or until mixture doesn't adhere to knife.
    Serve warm or cold, plain or with sweetened whipped cream.
