Chocolate Town Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9-inch unbaked pastry shell
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips or mini chips
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In small mixing bowl, cream butter and add eggs and vanilla.
    Combine sugar and flour; add to cream mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts; pour into pastry shell.
    Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until golden.
    Cool at room temperature for about 1 hour and serve.
    Garnish with whipped cream or Cool Whip, if desired.
