"Out Of This World" Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 can cherry pie filling
3/4 c. sugar
1 large can crushed pineapple with juice
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 oz. pkg. strawberry Jell-O
4 bananas, sliced
1 c. chopped pecans
2 pie shells, baked
Cool Whip

Preparation

Cook pie filling, sugar, pineapple (with juice) and cornstarch until thick.
Remove from heat.
Add dry Jell-O.
Mix well. Cool.
Add bananas and nuts.
Pour into pie shells.
Chill. Top with Cool Whip before serving.
