Apricot Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. dried chopped apricots
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. frozen orange juice
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Soak apricots in warm water about 20 minutes.
Cream sugar, shortening and egg.
Stir in orange juice and 1/4 cup sugar.
Sift dry ingredients and mix with creamed mixture.
Drain apricots and stir into batter with nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour in greased and floured bread pan.
