Crisp Pickle Mix - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. sliced cucumbers
    1 qt. sliced onions
    3 c. cauliflower
    2 bell peppers
    1/3 c. salt
    5 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Put salt over all vegetables and cover.
    Let stand 1 1/2 hours, then drain.
    Put in remaining ingredients.
    Bring to a boil and can.
