Ingredients

4 c. fresh blackberries or 2 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen blackberries, thawed
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
Pastry (recipe follows)
2 Tbsp. butter, melted and divided
2 Tbsp. sugar, divided
Preparation

Combine blackberries, 1 cup sugar and water in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat 10 minutes; stir gently.
