Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plain flour
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/3 c. Crisco
    1 egg
    5 Tbsp. buttermilk
Preparation
    Whip egg and buttermilk.
    Add to other ingredients and mix. Roll out and let set for 15 minutes.
    Cut out and drop in chicken and liquid.
