Strawberry Glaze Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. fresh strawberries
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    few drops red food coloring
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 c. whipping cream, whipped and sweetened
Preparation
    Cut up 1 cup of berries.
    Mix sugar and cornstarch in a 2-quart saucepan.
    Stir in water gradually until smooth.
    Add cut up berries.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and clear. Stir in food coloring and cool.
    Stir in remaining berries, saving 1/4 cup for top of pie.
    Pour into shell.
    Chill until firm, about 3 hours.
    Top with whipped cream and reserved berries.
