Tijuana Taco Salad(Good Diabetic Recipe) - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            1 lb. lean ground turkey
 
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 (7 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up (undrained)
2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground cumin
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 large head lettuce
3 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges
3/4 c. (3 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
- 
                            Brown ground turkey and onion in a skillet; drain.
 
Stir in undrained tomatoes, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, cumin and pepper.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until liquid evaporates, stirring occasionally.
