Good Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. corn meal
2 c. sweet milk
4 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. fat
1 tsp. salt
1 egg

Preparation

Mix, bake in grease in an iron skillet.
Very good.
No oven temps or times were given in 1948!
Suggest 400\u00b0 for about 22 minutes.
