Easy Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. oil
2 Tbsp. flour
1 lb. beef chuck or round in 1-inch dice
1 envelope dried onion soup mix
2 c. water
1/2 c. red wine
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. chili sauce
1 tsp. black pepper
1/2 lb. diced frozen carrots
1 1/2 c. frozen hash brown potatoes
Preparation

Pour oil into deep heavy saucepan.
Dredge beef with flour and brown beef in hot oil.
Remove beef and set aside.
Add water, wine, soup mix, chili sauce and pepper.
Stir well.
Return beef to pan.
Bring to simmer and simmer for 1 hour.
Add carrots and potatoes.
Simmer 1/2 hour.
Serve with rice.
