3 c. soft bread crumbs
1/4 c, butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. sliced tart apples
1/2 c. apricot jam
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. rum, optional
3/4 c. whipped cream
Preparation

Cook and stir bread crumbs in butter over medium heat until toasted.
Mix sugar, lemon peel, cinnamon.
