Broccoli With Garlic And Parmesan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    1 (1 1/2 lb.) bunch broccoli
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
    2 cloves garlic, split (add more, if you like)
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Combine water and garlic in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
    Wash broccoli thoroughly; trim off large leaves.
    Remove outside layer of stem and the tough lower ends of broccoli stalks.
    Separate into spears.
    Add broccoli and salt to garlic mixture.
    Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until tender.
    Discard garlic and drain broccoli well.
    Transfer broccoli to a serving dish.
    Sprinkle with lemon juice and Parmesan cheese before serving.
    Serves 6 (36 calories per serving).
