1 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. iced water
1/2 c. powdered nondairy creamer
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. butter
6 c. sliced, peeled apples
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Combine 1 1/2 cups flour and 1 teaspoon salt.
Cut in shortening until crumbly.
Add cheese.
Sprinkle water over mixture, gradually.
Shape into a ball.
Roll pastry into 15-inch circle on floured surface.
Place on baking sheet; turn up 1/4-inch rim.
