Chicken Gumbo Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. cooked chicken, boned
    1 lb. smoked ham
    2 c. chopped onion
    4 c. canned tomatoes
    2 (1 lb. 4 oz.) cans sliced okra
    1 bay leaf
    1 to 2 qt. chicken broth
Preparation
    Cut chicken meat and ham into small pieces.
    Add vegetables, bay leaf and broth.
    Simmer for 15 minutes.
    Taste and add seasonings.
    Remove bay leaf.
    Pour hot mixture into hot sterilized pint jars.
    Seal.
    Process in pressure canner 65 minutes at 10 pounds of pressure.
    Process quarts 75 minutes at 10 pounds pressure.
    Makes 12 pints.
    I like to add rice to mine!
