Raspberry Slump - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. raspberries
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Heat fruit, sugar and water in a buttered 2 quart baking dish in a 400 degree oven.
    Mix flour with baking powder, salt, and sugar.
    Cut in butter until mixture resembles fine meal.
    Add milk, a little at a time, mixing after each addition.
    Spoon over hot berries.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Try it with cherries or peaches as well, adjusting sugar to taste.
    Serve with cream or ice cream.
