Jalapeno Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cornmeal
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 can cream-style corn
    chopped jalapeno peppers
    1/2 c. shortening
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients; add shortening.
    Blend until mixture is coarse and mealy.
    Add remaining ingredients, except peppers.
    Mix well.
    Fill greased muffin tin with mixture.
    Place peppers on top. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 450\u00b0.
