Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or lard
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. molasses
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. boiling water.
Preparation
    Last add boiling water.
    Mix and bake at 350\u00b0.
