Grandma'S Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 potatoes, pared and diced
    1 c. diced celery with leaves
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 c. diced ham or smoked sausage
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    In a large kettle, put potatoes, celery, onion, parsley, 1 teaspoon of salt and enough water to cover them, plus some to make the soup as thin or thick as desired.
    Pepper to taste.
    Bring to a boil and simmer until potatoes are done.
    Add ham or sausage.
