Apple Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 apples (unpeeled) (Gala, Golden or Red Delicious)
4 c. thinly sliced green cabbage
1 c. shredded carrots
3/4 c. toasted walnuts, chopped (bake 8 minutes at 350~)
1/2 c. each: mayonnaise, buttermilk and raisins
1/4 c. minced red onion
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cut apples into thin wedges.
Mix all ingredients gently together. Chill.
