Giant Gingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. softened margarine
    1/3 c. Crisco shortening
    1 1/4 c. granulated sugar, divided
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. dark Karo syrup
    2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine
    first\t4
    ingredients;
    set aside. Beat margarine, Karo
    syrup, Crisco shortening, 1 cup of the granulated sugar and the egg
    until
    fluffy.
    Add the dry ingredients and the
    ginger. Mix well.
    Roll
    into
    balls
    and
    roll
    in
    the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar
    and the cinnamon. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or lightly browned.
