Low-Sodium Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (6 oz.) cans no-salt tomato paste
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. no-salt catsup
    1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
    2 cloves, minced garlic
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    dash of red pepper sauce
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and mix well.
    Simmer, uncovered, over low heat for 20 minutes.
    Will keep refrigerated for 1 month.
    Makes about 1 quart.
