Laurie'S Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground chuck or beef
    3 medium onions
    1 green pepper
    3 to 6 cloves garlic
    1 can Brooks chili beans (12 to 16 oz. can)
    1 regular can Joan of Arc fancy red kidney beans
    1 can tomato bits (regular size can)
    1/2 pkg. or so French's Chili-O mix
    1 big can tomato juice
    2 to 3 Tbsp. or so chili powder
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and simmer until thick, about 2 hours.
