Vegetable Spaghetti Sauce(Serves 6 To 10) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 onions
    4 to 6 cloves garlic
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 large green/red peppers
    8 oz. fresh mushrooms
    1/2 c. hearty red wine
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    fresh or dry thyme or basil
    2 bay leaves, crumpled
    1 large can whole tomatoes
    1 large can chopped tomatoes
    1 small can tomato paste
Preparation
    Chop onion and garlic; heat in oil in big pot.
    Include bay leaves at this point.
    Add vegetables in order listed, all chopped. Saute over medium heat until limp and mushrooms have given up their juice.
    Add can of tomatoes, paste, wine and sugar.
    Cook on simmer for 1/2 hour.
    Add spices at the end to maintain their flavor. Serve with any shape of pasta.
