Mandarin Orange Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans mandarin oranges
    6 oz. orange Jell-O
    1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 pt. orange sherbet
Preparation
    Drain oranges and add water to juice to make 1 1/2 cups liquid.
    Bring to a boil and add to Jell-O.
    Stir until dissolved. Add sherbet and stir until melted.
    Chill to consistency of egg whites.
    Fold in oranges and pineapple with juice.
    Chill until set.
    Garnish with cherries or strawberries.
