Dilled Cucumbers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cucumbers (unpeeled)
1 c. white vinegar
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. chopped fresh dill
2 medium onions, sliced
Preparation

Up to 1 week before serving, slice cucumbers very thinly.
In saucepan, combine vinegar, sugar, water and salt; bring to a boil. Layer cucumber and onion slices in jars or container with a cover.
Pour hot vinegar mixture over vegetables; add dill on top. Cover tightly and refrigerate.
Serve as a salad on greens or with hamburgers, etc., as a relish.
Makes 1 quart.
