Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    3 sq. bitter chocolate
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 large can evaporated milk
Preparation
    Melt margarine and chocolate over hot water in double boiler. Stir in milk and sugar alternately.
    Add salt.
    Use low heat and cook at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Cook over water to reheat any remaining sauce.
