Fresh Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. olive oil
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 tsp. granulated garlic or 2 fresh cloves of garlic
1/4 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
2 lb. fresh ripe plum tomatoes (you can use canned also)
4 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Dice tomatoes and fresh garlic, if used.
In a frying pan, heat oil on medium heat. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute.
Add tomatoes and saute until tomatoes are soft and tender.
Add spices and water.
Simmer 30 minutes.
Serve over pasta or on top of meatballs.
