Teddy Bear Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. milk, scalded
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 pkg. yeast (dry)
    1 1/2 c. warm water
    3 c. unsifted flour (1 c. added as needed)
    raisins for decorations
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Scald milk; stir in sugar, salt and margarine.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add milk mixture and 3 cups flour.
    Beat until smooth.
    Stir in enough more flour to make a stiff dough.
    On floured board knead 8 to 10 minutes.
    Place in greased bowl.
    Grease top.
    Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
