Easy Tea Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat egg.
    Add sugar, melted butter, vanilla and milk.
    Beat 1 minute.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt; add to egg mixture. Beat until well blended.
    Drop by small teaspoonfuls into preheated shortening.
    Fry until golden brown, turning to brown evenly.
    Drain.
    Roll in confectioners sugar.
