Cherry Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
dash of salt
1 egg, beaten
1 can tart cherries, drained
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Sift first 4 ingredients together and set aside.
Add beaten egg.
Add cherries and nuts.
Stir in the dry ingredients until blended.
Do not add liquid.
Bake in loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
When cool, serve with whipped cream.
