Old Fashioned Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sweet milk
    4 c. coarse bread crumbs
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 lightly beaten eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. seedless raisins
Preparation
    Heat to scalding the milk.
    Pour over the bread crumbs.
    Cool and add the melted butter, sugar, eggs, salt and raisins.
    Pour into buttered 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes or until silver knife inserted in pudding comes out clean. Serve warm with or without sauce or cream.
    Makes 6 servings.
