Tennessee River Mud Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 stick margarine, softened
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 large carton Cool Whip
    1 large pkg. chocolate instant pudding mix
Preparation
    Put a can of Eagle Brand or Carnation condensed milk in deep saucepan filled
    with
    water (be sure can is covered with water all the time).
    Bring water to a boil, then simmer for 2 1/2 hours.
    Be sure
    to
    watch and be sure water covers it all the time.
    Take out
    of water and let cool, then open can.
    It will be caramelized.
    Spoon
    into
    baked
    plain pie shell or a graham cracker
    crust.
    Let
    cool
    completely, then cover with Cool Whip or
    whipped
    cream.
    Refrigerate.
    (Very
    rich
    and delicious.)
