Sour Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans French-style green beans
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 lb. bacon, cut up fine
    2 small onions, diced
Preparation
    Put cans of beans, including juice, in saucepan and warm.
    Fry bacon in a skillet until crisp.
    Pour vinegar and sugar in skillet and heat until clear and sugar is dissolved.
    Pour all in the saucepan; keep warm until ready to serve.
