Bread Pudding With Lemon Cream Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. milk
2 slightly beaten eggs
2 c. 1 day old bread cubes (biscuit or fresh bread is best)
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar (optional)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
1/4 tsp. cloves (optional)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. raisins
2 Tbsp. margarine, melted (optional)
Preparation

Combine milk and eggs.
Pour over bread cubes.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Pour mixture in an 8-inch baking dish. Place in a shallow pan on oven rack.
Pour hot water around it one-inch deep.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour and 30 minutes (or until a knife, inserted halfway between center and outside edge, comes out clean, and should spring back when lightly pressed). Serve with Lemon Cream Sauce.
Serves 8.
