Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium sweet potatoes (about 4 1/2 lb.)
1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
3/4 c. pineapple juice
1/3 c. light corn syrup
2 Tbsp. orange juice
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cook potatoes in boiling water 20 to 25 minutes or until tender.
Let cool to touch.
Peel and cut potatoes lengthwise into 1/4-inch slices.
Set aside.
